Careers
Small teams. Real work.
Spot Cloud B.V. is small on purpose. Each of the three products runs with a tight team that owns its product end to end. We do not hire project managers, design committees, or roles that exist to coordinate other roles.
Open roles
No public roles right now.
We hire when a specific product needs a specific shape of engineer or domain expert. When that happens, the role gets posted here with the actual scope and the actual compensation range. No hidden funnels, no "always hiring" theatre.
If you want to be on our radar for the next opening, email us with what you have built and which of the three products interests you.
How we work
Remote-first across Europe. We meet in person a few times a year. Most of the work happens asynchronously. We write things down so that decisions stay decisions and not Slack threads.
Every engineer ships to production. Every engineer talks to customers. We do not separate the two. The shortest path from a customer email to a deployed fix is the path we take.
What we expect
- You can build something useful from scratch. The stack is less important than the instinct to put working software in front of people quickly.
- You write so others can read. Clear pull requests, clear comments in code only when the why is non-obvious, clear customer-facing copy.
- You take responsibility for the whole thing. Not "I built the feature, the bug is the on-call's problem". The bug is yours until you fix it or hand it off cleanly.
What you can expect from us
- Full-time salary in line with a Dutch B.V. small-team market. No equity theatre, no fake titles.
- Real ownership of a product surface. You see the customer, the revenue, and the bug list. You ship.
- Time to do the work properly. We do not run sprints with story points. We run on weeks and what you said you would ship.
The bar
We hire slowly. The first conversation is informal, the second is a look at something you have built, and the third is a paid trial week on a real piece of work. No whiteboard riddles.
Get on the radar
One paragraph on what you have built. A link or two. Tell us which of the three products you would want to work on and why.
